A note on Assets
In the demo, marketplace art assets are used heavily. Reload animations, weapons, sounds, environment models, materials, props - the entire stealth section was just a demo map for an asset. We made the decision to pursue a vision here using assets as allowed by the jam to enable us to focus on the gameplay, the story and the feel for what we could do during the jam.
We do intend to build this game out further after the jam and entirely change the art style to one that is not decided entirely by budgetary constraints, in the process, changing out all the art for much less generic content.
