Auto Jump/Jump Assist Prototype, P0.2?

Hey Shadows fans!

Back to show off a quick feature I've been working on to improve the game's playability for new, inexperienced gamers, people who may otherwise just generally struggle with platformers, who want a more casual FPS experience or who want to extend the control over difficulty for combat to movement in general, and as well to allow us to present some awesome cinematic moments in our story campaign:

Jump Assist

Jump assist allows us to design automated jumps around the scene that will always put the player exactly where we want them to, no matter where the player hits them from, at what angle, or how fast, unless they choose to input something like a dash for example while in the air.

The system will present a visual indicator, though the specifics of this have not been decided yet, when the user is about to engage with an auto-jump. For example, a ghost of the player jumping that way.

The system has a variety of settings to fine tune it to your liking:

Off - Jump assist will not be used except for in short scripted areas where the jumps are not intended to be possible or fun to execute by a human.

Assist - Jump assist will be used for jumps that we deem tricky.

Auto - Heavy use of jump assist to the point where you can realistically navigate most areas without really ever jumping yourself.

Here is a video of the prototype. I'm unsure if this will make it into P0.2, but it will make it into P1.0:
