P0.2 - Improved Hipfire
Hey Shadows fans,
I'm still quite ill, but found the energy to record a clip of a change I made on Friday evening before this hit.
There's a problem with the game's realistic aim system where the guns default crosshairs are not all in the same place, they are all slightly off center in different ways in each gun. This makes it difficult to build muscle memory for shadows, to use your muscle memory from different games, and to aim the offhand abilities that go to screen center.
This has been rectified. Now, the crosshair sticks to the center by default, except for under certain situations like sprinting and reloading, and recoil, sway and other effects are added like an offset, retaining the same engaging realistic and skill based recoil system but bringing more consistent gameplay.
No new progress since this was added as I've pretty much been incapacitated but, I think I am going to be fine by tomorrow to like exist and function and get some work done on this after work, based on improvements throughout today.
